A little about how I work and what I bring to a team.
I'm a data analyst who likes the messy middle: pulling data from many sources, finding where it breaks, and shaping it into dashboards and reports that people actually open. At Amgen I integrated clinical and physician data from 15+ sources and cut reporting errors by 25%. At VJH Software I worked directly with clients to turn their questions into Power BI dashboards.
Most recently I ran operations and analytics for my family's fuel dealership, where I built the reporting that tracked sales, margins, and receivables. I'm open to analytics roles in any industry.

Hospital Readmissions Analysis
Which conditions, states, and hospitals drive excess readmissions under the CMS Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program, and how readmissions relate to hospital ratings.
Early Sepsis Prediction for ICU Patients
LSTM model on MIMIC-III ICU data (40,000+ patients) predicting sepsis 6, 12, and 18 hours before onset, reaching an AUROC of 0.97. Served through a Flask API.
Jaundice Prediction Using Machine Learning
PCA and factor analysis on patient lab data to find key drivers (bilirubin was most significant), comparing logistic regression, tree-based, SVM, naive Bayes, and neural network models.
Restaurant Market Analysis with the Yelp API
Pulled business data from the Yelp API into a relational database and used SQL to map and compare competitors, informing where and how to open a new restaurant.
COVID-19 Detection from Chest X-Rays
Transfer-learning model (DenseNet) classifying chest X-rays as COVID-19, bacterial pneumonia, viral pneumonia, or normal, with Grad-CAM heatmaps showing what drove each prediction.
Crop & Plant Disease Recognition App
Mobile app for Android and iOS that identifies the crop and detects plant diseases from a camera or gallery photo, using a MobileNetV2 transfer-learning model (92% validation accuracy across 10 crops) converted to TensorFlow Lite to run on the phone.
Speaker Identification from Voice
Extracted pitch, harmonic, percussive, and chroma features from audio with librosa, reduced them with PCA, and compared decision tree, KNN, naive Bayes, and random forest classifiers. Random forest performed best (75% test accuracy).
